《大山的女儿》讲的是黄文秀作为北京师范大学硕士毕业的学生，是很优秀的，她得到了一份在大城市工作的高薪职业，可是她却主动放弃了，回到了她自己的家乡。那是百色市的一个小山村。她担任市委宣传部的职员，2018年3月份的时候，她了解到广西有一个非常贫困的小山村，叫做百坭村，她知道的时候内心很感慨，所以就主动去了那个地方帮助她们脱贫，白天她走村串户想要去访问贫困户，让她们知道自己贫困的原因，晚上就和同事一起研究脱贫的对策，制定了具体的方案，并且想让她们都脱贫，她经过了不懈的努力。然后88户贫困户在一年多的时间之内就顺利脱贫了，然而一场暴雨中，黄文秀想要回去看看乡亲们，但她却在这场暴风雨中牺牲了，但是扶贫的工作并没有结束，其她人受到她事迹的感染，接过了接力棒，所以这个小村庄也慢慢的变得幸福起来

"The Daughter of the Mountain" is about Huang Wenxiu, a student who graduated from Beijing Normal University with a master's degree. She had a high-paying job in the city, but she voluntarily gave it up and returned to her hometown. It was a small mountain village in Baise City.
