湖南卫视推出的一档全新家风类节目，由何炅主持，讲述平常老百姓家的故事，儿行千里的主题是家国情怀，不管自己离开家了多长时间，或者是有多长的距离，那么家永远是每个人心中的避风港，在遇到和家有关的事情时，每个人都无法淡定

节目组的整个舞台背景采用的是暖黄色，为大家营造一个身处家中一样的环境，改变了原本舞台当中的冷色调。每一期节目会邀请两个嘉宾，这两个嘉宾并不是明星，而是生活当中的普通人，通过他们的视角讲解自己对于家的理解，或者是对于家的思念。站在他们的角度讲解一个自己心目当中的家乡应该是什么样子的，故事的情节推进比较缓慢，目的就是为了让所有的人了解家乡的变化。了解家乡在于每一个人心中的意义。何炅是这个节目当中的主持人，在节目当中会协调所有的嘉宾，并且逐渐的引导嘉宾按照节目组设定的故事情节展开叙述。每周日22:00在湖南卫视播出。
