Available from Green Bunny on March 30. The film tells the life of the protagonist Cai Nai who lives with her mother after losing her father in her childhood. However, her fortunes begin to turn when her mother introduces her to a burly man who she decides to marry
The man turned out to be a criminal police officer, but he was also involved in the distribution of an illegal new drug "Yellow Star" middle. Unfortunately, the illegal drug started to take its toll on Cai Nai, who became more and more addicted to it.
The film shows Cai Nai's inner struggle and pain. She loves her stepfather deeply, but has to confront the illegal activities he has been involved in. She is caught in a moral and emotional dilemma, torn between her love for her stepfather and her anger at his mistakes.
In the development of the story, the stepfather was finally punished due to his illegal behavior. It also became a major test for their family.
