该节目是一档在11月3日在韩国济州岛进行一周左右的拍摄的韩国综艺节目。节目组也对外公布，由于节目的特殊性，拍摄地点和行程无法提前对外公开，还请各大观众见谅。该节目的成员都来自韩国人气综艺，新西游记，在拍摄节目前四季的时候，成员也曾经开玩笑，建议模仿另一人气节目进行活动，开设属于成员专属的餐厅并将名字取名为姜食堂

之后，由于成员完成任务并获齐7颗龙珠，节目组将为每个成员共同实现一个愿望。其中一个成员的愿望是出演旅行综艺节目《花样青春》。从而衍生出其他另外两个节目。姜食堂2也在2019年5月31日首播。这个节目吸取了韩国综艺的可取之处，看到韩国综艺的真诚之处，在短短的时间里面就有太多的地方值得观众回味和留意。
