故事主要围绕着17岁的少女铃芽展开，她生活在宁静的九州小镇上。某天，她与旅行青年草太相遇，两人一起踏上了关闭灾难源头之门的冒险之旅。

在这个故事中，铃芽跟随着草太来到了废墟之地，发现了一扇古老的门。好奇心驱使下，她将手伸向了那扇门，却不料意外卷入了一场惊险的冒险之旅。据说，这些门是通向另一个时间的入口，也可能带来灾祸。因此，草太作为“闭门师”，负责旅行并将这些门关闭，以防止灾祸降临现世。

The story mainly revolves around a 17-year-old girl, Suzuya, who lives in a quiet small town in Kyushu. One day, she met Sota, a traveling young man, and together they embarked on an adventure to close the door to the source of the disaster.

In this story, Suzume followed Sota to the ruins and found an ancient door. Driven by curiosity, she stretched her hand towards the door, but unexpectedly got involved in a thrilling adventure. It is said that these gates are portals to another time and could bring disaster. Therefore, Sota, as the "closed door master", is responsible for traveling and closing these doors to prevent disasters from befalling the world.

Suzume and Kusata traveled across Japan together, meeting many wonderful things and people along the way. During her journey, she gradually discovered the truth hidden behind these doors, and gradually understood the mission and story behind Sota.
