Compartment Six is a feature film directed by Ewan Kuosmann, which premiered on July 10, 2021 at the 74th Cannes International Film Festival. Starring Tinara Zhukarova and Yuri Borisov, the film tells the story of Laura, a Finnish archaeological student. She decided to take the train to Murmansk, wanting to see the journey of the ancient stone statue.

Laura is a delicate girl, burdened with a secret love affair in Moscow, she feels that fleeing Moscow is the only option. On the train, she was forced to share a long journey with a Russian miner in a cramped sleeper compartment. The two strangers had to rely on each other in a small space, which gradually created a connection with each other.

During the days on the train, Laura and the miner gradually opened up and shared their stories and moods. Their communication and interaction allowed them to understand each other more deeply, and they also began to face up to what they really wanted in their hearts. In the company of strangers, Laura no longer escapes, but begins to face her own feelings and heart.

"Car No. 6" is not only a story of journey and adventure, but also a journey of soul.
