The story of the second season takes place 13 months after the events of the first season moon. A coastal tanker sailing along the Öresund Strait headed straight for the Öresund Bridge. When the Coast Guard boarded the vessel, they found that there was no crew on board, while the three Swedish youths and two Danish youths were chained below deck. Saga Norén took charge of the case as Malmö County Police and contacted Martin Rohde, who is still haunted by his son's death. Soon, things aren't as they seem, and the locked-up youths are just the beginning...someone wants to call our attention to climate change and the use of our planet's resources, and will stop at nothing. It all becomes a race against time to prevent a catastrophe involving many lives...

The second season continues the suspenseful and tense style of the first season, and a new case triggers a new storyline.
