在旅途中，他遇到了浪人勘藏。两人一起翻越高山，来到一个偏僻的荒村。村民正为一名妖怪山女吸取男人精气并杀害他们的问题而困扰。于是，他们请求仁光和勘藏帮助制伏这名山女。

Renguang is a monk who takes practice as a model and is more diligent than anyone else. However, he is troubled by too many women's affection for him. Whether it is a little girl in the village, a mature married woman, or even an old woman, all women are fascinated by Renguang. Ashamed of his ability to arouse immoral desires in those around him, he decides to leave the temple and embark on a journey to rediscover himself.

During the journey, he met Ronin Kanzang. The two climbed over the mountains together and came to a remote deserted village. Villagers are troubled by a monster mountain girl who sucks the energy of men and kills them. So they asked Renguang and Kanzang to help subdue the mountain girl.

In this story, morality and desire are intertwined. Renguang, as a monk, should have devoted himself to his practice, but he was troubled by the obsession with the women around him. He is faced with a conflict between morality and personal desires, and he doesn't know how to deal with it. The encounter with Kanzang and the confrontation with Shannu became an opportunity for him to rethink and rediscover his own path.

"The Passion of Renguang" explores the good, evil and desires in human nature through the monk's inner struggle and his conflict with the outside world complex relationship with ethics.
