《少年说》是湖南卫视新一代有关青少年健康成长的真人秀节目，招募国内的中小学生参与节目当中，倾听他们的成长诉求以及学生的看法。致力于展现中国校园积极向上、乐观开朗的精神面貌，把学生时代最美的一面展现出来，让更多人有机会了解到成长于象牙塔中学生的美好心灵。少年说包括5季内容，每一季的内容都有所不同，在2018年开始在湖南卫视进行播出

少年说节目组将镜头转向课堂之外，通过真实记录中小学生的日常生活，给他们创造一个相对自由的表达环境，更多年轻人有机会说出隐藏在自己内心深处的想法。节目组将告白的地点设置在天台，尽可能减少外界因素的干扰，最大程度吸引校内的学生和老师。另外，鼓励观众朋友们以聆听者的身份，倾听青少年们的心里话，了解这个世界。
