剧中的女主人公是食品开发组的一名职员，她对食物天生就有着敏感的味觉和很独特的感知理解，有着比较高的天赋，她的妈妈经营着一家餐馆，虽然辛苦但是这家店的生意不错，使得母女二人的生活过得还算不错。这样平静的生活随着一件事情的发生被打破，女主人公在和一位美食作家因为食品方面的问题发生了争执，她意外的被卷入了一桩凶杀案中，她在和这位作家争吵完以后去了一家别墅里面释放情绪，而这位作家也刚好在这栋别墅里被害身亡，有过争执有正好出现在凶案现场，女主人公逃脱不了嫌疑，被当做凶手被逮捕，后来她知道了自己是被人陷害入狱，于是开始了自己的复仇计划，在复仇的过程中她遇到了男主人公，而他正好是那位作家的爱人，故事又进入了新的阶段.....
