《问天录》讲述钟云飞在守护人界的道路上越走越远。最终完成蜕变，和白凝雨跨越三界的羁绊相恋的故事，电视剧由一共6个单元组成。每一个单元都以神话故事为背景，讲述几个独立的故事线索和各种时间线。但是在最后一个单元里，这六个故事串联到一起，最终将电视剧的结局演绎出来
