电影《无用的我看见了天》讲述了高中生齐藤卓巳（永山绚斗 饰）和热爱Cosplay的家庭主妇冈本里美（田畑智子 饰）之间发生的一段跌宕起伏的感情故事。齐藤卓巳家境优渥，过着无忧无虑的生活。然而，在参加某动漫展的活动上，他与冈本里美结识，从此两人的生活发生了翻天覆地的变化

里美已婚多年却未能生育，面对婆婆言语的刻薄和丈夫漠不关心，她陷入了无尽的孤独和压力之中，感觉难以承受。或许是因为这种巨大的心理压力，使得里美和齐藤卓巳之间发展出一段不伦之恋。里美喜欢将彼此打扮成动漫人物，逃离现实的压力，沉浸在短暂而虚幻的快乐中。

然而，齐藤卓巳并不是一心执着于这段禁忌的感情。他曾因为同学松永七菜（田中美晴 饰）的存在向里美提出分手，试图回归正常的生活。但他终究无法忘怀里美，在他心中留下了深深的烙印。于是，他们的感情越来越复杂，而命运的彼方也愈加黯淡。

The movie "Useless I Saw the Sky" tells the ups and downs of love between high school student Takumi Saito (played by Nagayama Kanto) and housewife Satomi Okamoto (played by Tomoko Tabata) who loves cosplay. Saito Takumi has a wealthy family and lives a carefree life. However, he got acquainted with Satomi Okamoto when he participated in an animation exhibition, and their lives have undergone tremendous changes since then

Satomi has been married for many years but has not had children. Faced with her mother-in-law's harsh words and her husband's indifference, she falls into endless loneliness and pressure, which is unbearable. Perhaps it was because of this huge psychological pressure that an unethical love developed between Satomi and Takumi Saito. Satomi likes to dress up each other as anime characters, escape the pressure of reality, and immerse themselves in short-lived and illusory happiness.

However, Saito Takumi is not obsessed with this forbidden relationship. He once broke up with Satomi because of the existence of his classmate Matsunaga Nana (played by Tanaka Miharu), trying to return to a normal life. But he couldn't forget Satomi after all, which left a deep imprint in his heart. As a result, their feelings became more and more complicated, and the other side of fate became more and more bleak.
