喜乐长安是一篇比较贴近现实的喜剧片，它讲述的是一场大饥荒当中，年仅6岁的孤儿随着饥民逃荒到了小木寺，而在整个拥挤的过程当中，只有他在夹缝中挤进了小木寺，并且被小木寺收留，之后里面的方丈给他起名为喜乐，释然儿时，看到了一场在长安城妓院楼顶上对决的武林盟主的盛世，却以苦当派掌门人，虽然夺得盟主却困楼顶，饿死的荒诞结局而收场，而在施然的十八岁那年，他的师傅预感小木寺将会有一起走将士，啊秘密的安排到了，下山去寻找一名铸剑老人，不过当时的释然感觉自己没有什么武功，所以害怕自己遇到江湖高手，而他的师傅则觉得施然则是天赋异禀，所以告诫他如果打不过就逃，之后长安的是安泽带着喜乐，懵懵懂懂的涉足江湖，开启了凶险的旅程
