电影以日本宫廷女官清少纳言的著作《枕草子》为背景，讲述了日本姑娘和子通过书法追寻杀父仇人并展开复仇的故事。

和子从小生活在文学和书法的艺术氛围中，每年她的生日，父亲都会在她的脸上书写生日祝福，而姑母则会朗读清少纳言的《枕草子》片段。然而，和子的家庭并不富裕，她的父亲是同性恋者，家里靠与父亲有关的一个出版商维持生计。当和子五岁生日那天目睹了父亲与出版商发生性关系时，她的生活开始改变。在她十八岁生日时，父亲停止了在她脸上书写字的传统。虽然不情愿，但和子还是被说服嫁给了出版商的外甥。

The film is based on the book "Pillow Soaker" written by the Japanese court lady Kiyosona , tells the story of a Japanese girl Kazuko pursuing her father and enemy through calligraphy and revenge.

Hezi has lived in the artistic atmosphere of literature and calligraphy since childhood, and every year on her birthday Every day, her father would write birthday wishes on her face, and her aunt would read aloud excerpts from Qing Shao Na Yan's "Pillow Grass". However, Kazuko's family is not rich. Her father is gay, and the family relies on a publisher related to her father to make ends meet. Kazuko's life begins to change when she witnesses her father having sex with a publisher on her fifth birthday. On her eighteenth birthday, her father stopped the tradition of writing on her face. Reluctantly, Kazuko is persuaded to marry the publisher's nephew.

Kazuko’s new husband is not interested in her favorite literature, the two often quarrel. Eventually, the conflict intensified, and the husband set fire to Kazuko's diary and their house. After fleeing her husband, family and Kyoto, Kazuko seeks asylum in Hong Kong, China, and takes a job at a restaurant. Soon after, she worked as an assistant to a costume designer and eventually became a popular fashion model. After becoming famous, Kazuko moved into a luxurious apartment in Hong Kong, met the young Japanese photographer Hoki, and fell in love with him.

However, although his career is booming, Kazuko is gradually dissatisfied with his current life. Start fantasizing about going back to childhood and happy life at home. She encourages her calligrapher lovers to write whatever they want on her body in exchange for having sex with them.
